I do re-use some general-purpose animations, when appropriate, but I custom design and program each website to meet your specific needs.

I charge one flat rate for everything - I don't bleed you to death with extra hidden costs. I charge a flat rate to design and program your website, then $35 a month to keep it on the internet (called 'hosting' in computerese). No extra charge for a secure line so you can accept credit card orders. No extra charges for animations or photos. No per hour charge for the time we spend coming out to see you or to design and program your website. No extra charges for email addresses. No additional fees for submitting your website listing to Google, Yahoo and dozens more (called 'search engines in computerese'). No additional charge for each page your website contains. Just one flat rate.

It makes things simpler for our customers and allows them to get the website they want, without having to worry about additional costs piling up. Sure, if you want me to spend 12 hours discussing your website with you, you need to scan in 100 photos, want a 50 page website or need 30 different email addresses, I will have to adjust my fee. But these are extremely rare cases. I will include any reasonable requests in my flat rate. I simply don't want to be taken advantage of. You know the type of person I mean.

I give you as much help as you need - Don't have a company logo? We will design one for you. No additional charge. Want a website, but don't have any idea what it should look like, how it should work or what it should say? I will design it for you and write the words. All at no additional charge. If you want a website and really have no ideas, except you want a website, I will discuss your market, your business, your industry, the results you want, etc. and produce a website to meet your needs. Again, this is included in our flat rate.

Conversely, if you have specific ideas about what you want, that's what I will do. I am here to give you as much help as you need to produce an effective website for your business.

I talk english not computerese - I don't talk in terms of HTML, bandwidth, megabytes, screen resolutions, etc. I talk about your company, your customers, how the website will look, what it will say and the results you want. I am not interested in impressing you or confusing you with our knowledge of computers. I focus on the issues that concern you. Leave the computer details to me. That's what you pay me for. Sure, if you wish to talk computers, I will be happy to. But I want to make getting a website as simple and easy for you as we can.

I have been programming computers for over 25 years - I am an expert. I have been programming computers before there was a public internet and even before there were such things as personal computers. I am not someone who, when the internet got popular, learned a little about the internet and started doing websites.
